Big Bang, 2NE1 Awarded Artist of the Year, Album Sales Top April, May

Big Bang and 2NE1 was awarded to receive the Artist of the Year in each month of April and May during the ‘1st Gaon Chart K-Pop Award’ on February 22 at Blue Square, Samsung Card Hall.

The Artist of the Year award based on month is given to artists who top each monthly and quarterly album sales during that period.
Big Bang and 2NE1 both were unable to attend due to different schedule. A YG Entertainment representative came on stage to receive Big Bang’s award shared, “Big Bang always tries best to deliver good music and great stage performance.”

In addition 2NE1 shared their reflection through a video, “Thank you for the great news.”
