Regine Velasquez

Regine Velasquez, born Regina Encarnacion Ansong Velasquez, is a Filipino singer, actress, record producer, TV host, stage director, fashion designer, and commercial and print model. She is dubbed as the Asia’s Songbird after winning the 1989 Asia Pacific Singing Contest in Hong Kong and is widely known for possessing a wide vocal range.

Velasquez was the first Filipino to stage a solo concert at the Main Hall of Carnegie Hall, part of Carnegie Hall’s centennial-year concert series. In 2000, she performed the country’s millennial theme, televised in 55 broadcast networks throughout the world to coincide with midnight in Manila.

Nichkhun Horvejkul also known mononymously as Nichkhun, is a Thai-American pop singer active in South Korea. He is a member of the boy band 2PM.

Nichkhun was born in Rancho Cucamonga, California to Thai parents. His father is of Thai origin while his mother is a forth generation Thai Chinese. Nichkhun has one older brother and two younger sisters. At the age of two, he moved to Thailand with his family, but moved back to the United States to finish schooling in Los Osos High School in Rancho Cucamonga, California. There, he was scouted by Park Jin-young, a K-pop singer and producer of JYP Entertainment, at the Los Angeles Korean Festival.

Charmaine Sheh

Charmaine Sheh is a Hong Kong actress under contract to Hong Kong’s Television Broadcast Limited or TVB.

Known as “Ah-Sheh” by fans and colleagues, she signed on with the television station in 1998 after competing in 1997′s Miss Hong Kong Pageant. Sheh was named second runner-up in the pageant.

Her career in the early stages was often characterized by her coy, squeaky voice and criticisms of bad acting. However, the actress overcame these challenges and reached her first breakthrough with one of TVB’s highest rated dramas in 2000

Jiro Wang

Jiro Wang 02Jiro Wang nicknamed Da Dong is a Taiwanese actor and singer. He is currently a member of the boy band Fahrenheit, and is widely known as the male lead in the Taiwanese idol drama KO One (終極一班) and its sequel The X-Family, as Ah Jin in It Started With a Kiss and its sequel, and Jin Xiu Yi in the live-action Taiwanese drama, Hana-Kimi (花樣少年少女).

Jiro Wang was born August 24, 1981, in Taiwan. He graduated at Fu Shin Trade and Arts College with a degree in Advertising Design. After his graduation, he dedicated his life toward the entertainment business. He was first asked to join the entertainment business because he showed his talents at a singing competition. BMG, the label that signed him, planned to package him with Jay Chou and Jordan Chan to form a boy band called 3J, but, because of 9/11, BMG’s stocks crashed and the 3J plan was scrapped. Jiro then decided to continue his career in the industry by working backstage, mainly in charge of fashion designing and other designing necessities, as well as commercial modeling. He was approached again around 2004, when his acting career began.

Chen Qiao En

Joe Chen Qiao-En is a Taiwanese actress of Hakka origin. She is the co-leader of Taiwanese group 7 Flowers and is also the first female member of the talent agency Jungiery. Her interest lies mainly in acting and writing and she does well in both fields. She was the female lead in the 2nd highest-rated Taiwanese drama “The Prince Who Turns Into a Frog” 《王子變青蛙》, and is currently a hostess in two TV shows — “Treasure Hunter” 《冒險奇兵》and《型男大主厨》. In 2008 she once again rose to stardom in a new drama “Fated To Love You” 《命中注定我愛你》, which broke the record of “The Prince Who Turns Into a Frog” 《王子變青蛙》, to achieve the highest segment ratings in Taiwan’s idol dramas so far.

An Yi Xuan, also known by her English name Audrey “Ady” An is a Taiwanese Actress and Singer. However, her real birth name is Wu Minjing.

She was discovered in a coffee store she was working, the director approached her at least 30 times, asking her to join, yet she refused. But she did join the company in the end, and she was almost instantly propelled into fame through her most known (many consider as a debut series) “The Outsiders” (2003).

Lee Byung-hun is a South Korean actor. He is most famous for acting in Park Chan-wook’s Joint Security Area and Kim Ji-woon’s A Bittersweet Life. He made his Hollywood debut in G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra as Storm Shadow.

Lee made his acting debut in 1991, when he starred in the television drama “Asphalt My Hometown”. Lee’s later movie, Joint Security Area, was a smash hit, surpassing the box office benchmark set by Shiri.

After Lee’s role in Bungee Jumping of Their Own, his acting talent gathered widespread recognition.

Yao Yao 01Guo Shu Yao, or just “Yao yao” is a Taiwanese Singer, Yao-yao has captured the hearts of boys with her baby face and ample cleavage since her appearance in a series of suggestive TV commercials for an online game. Her phenomenal popularity paved the way for the former teen model to break into pop music.

Her debut album , entitled “Love’s Embrace” (愛的抱抱) was the No. 1 selling record in Taiwan on October 2009,  beating out other famous singers including local star Angela Chang (張韶涵) and Hong Kong’s Eason Chan (陳奕迅).
