MBLAQ

MBLAQ, (an acronym for Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality) is a South Korean quintet boy band created by Korean pop R&B singer Rain under his label J.Tune Entertainment. The members include Seung Ho, G.O, Joon, Thunder, and Mir. The group debuted in October 9, 2009 at Rain’s Legend of Rainism concert. On October 14, 2009 the group released their debut single album, “Just BLAQ”, which topped various on-line and off-line music charts in South Korea. The group then released their second single Y in May 18, 2010.

Supernova to hold concert in Japan in December

Boy band Supernova will be holding a concert in Japan this coming December, according to the boys on Thursday.

The six-member band broke the news to Asia Economic Daily before going on stage of music cable channel Mnet’s “M! CountDown” where they will give their first performance for their second album “Time to Shine” released yesterday.

Changmin and Lee Hyun’s "They Live Well" takes first place

Latest duet “They Live Well” by 2AM’s Changmin and 8eight’s Lee Hyun took first place on Gaon’s singles chart during the second week of August.

The duo stepped up a notch from last week to No. 1 for their first win on the chart, pushing back previous winner “I’m a Guy Like This” by DJ DOC to second place while BoA’s latest single “Hurricane Venus” also made its way to the top tier during the week of August 8 to 14.

Zia

Zia is a South Korean singer, famous for being a faceless artist.

Zia debuted in 2007. She recently sang live and she isn’t really that ugly at all, although some people have criticized her for her looks. Her first album was Voice of Heaven, which had a great song called 물꾸러미 (absentmindedly) which had a music video starring Kim Ok Bin and shin hyun joon, from Stairway to Heaven, the korean drama. apparently the music video cost 10 billion won (10 million dollars).

Zia takes over Mnet’s singles chart with "Laughter"

Korean pop star Zia has taken over Mnet’s singles chart with her latest song “Laughter” during the second week of August.

The singer’s new song “Laughter” made an incredible 31-slot jump to first place, displacing former winner “I’m a Guy Like This” from hip-hop trio DJ DOC to the No. 5 spot.
