Tonight is the fourth extended play by the South Korean boy band Big Bang, released under YG Entertainment. It was their first new materials released in South Korea after two-year hiatus as a group. A blend of rock and electronic music, the album became the first K-pop album to reach the top 10 on US iTunes chart and is the only non-English language album in the top 100. Their comeback was met with mostly positive receptions, with the lead-single of the same name becoming a chart topper on the Gaon Chart.

Two months after BIGBANG 4th Mini-Album, a special repackaged version of the mini-album was also released, BIGBANG Special Edition. This would be BIGBANG’s first repackaged release, and instead of only including a few new songs, YG decided to release it as a new compilation album with a 100 page photobook. BIGBANG Special Edition only included three songs from the original mini-album, “Tonight”, “Cafe” and “Somebody to Love”. It also included three new songs, “Love Song” and “Stupid Liar” which were used as lead tracks, and Daesung’s solo “BABY DON’T CRY”.
