Zia is a South Korean singer, famous for being a faceless artist.
Zia debuted in 2007. She recently sang live and she isn’t really that ugly at all, although some people have criticized her for her looks. Her first album was Voice of Heaven, which had a great song called 물꾸러미 (absentmindedly) which had a music video starring Kim Ok Bin and shin hyun joon, from Stairway to Heaven, the korean drama. apparently the music video cost 10 billion won (10 million dollars).

Junsu’s a member in the South Korean dance/pop group 2PM. Junsu is known as the lead vocalist of the group. He is originally from Daegu, South Korea. He originally auditioned for YG Entertainment, where he befriended G-Dragon and Tae Yang of Big Bang. He was accepted into both YG & JYP Entertainment, but chose to take the path of JYP in his final decision.

Seung Ri is from Kwangjoo, the sixth major city in Korea. As we can see in the Big Bang Documentary, it’s quite a long commute between the two. Before Big Bang, he was a member of Ilhwan, a Kwangjoo dance team.
In summer 2005, Seung Ri appeared on an episode of Battle Shinhwa, a TV show to find the second Shinhwa (a famous boyband) through auditions. The band Battle is the result of that TV show. In the thirteenth episode, he was cut because his singing wasn’t impressive enough, even though his dancing was.

Dae Sung was recruited in an audition, and even though he was jokingly known as “unpretty boy” among the staff, he turned out to be one of the most popular members. During training, he got to do vocal training with Wheesung, who’s one of his favorite artists.
While training, he was diagnosed with vocal cord nodules, which are common among singers and caused by strain on the vocal cords. They got worse in the fall of 2006 and he had to undergo treatment soon before the release of Big Bang’s second single. Thankfully, Gummy, who had experienced similar problems, helped Dae Sung recover and manage his condition, and they’ve been friends ever since.

Dong, Young-Bae (Korean: 동영배, Hanja: 東永裴, born May 18, 1988), better known by his stage name Taeyang, is a hip hop musician and a member of Big Bang.
Taeyang was a child actor starting in 5th grade. He was recruited at the same time as G-Dragon, at the age of 13 to play the part of mini Sean in the A-Yo MV. After that, he auditioned to join YG Family, having been impressed by JinuSean. His chosen stage name was YB Taekwon, which is either a reference to JinuSean’s Taekwon V album or to the giant robot Taekwon V.
His rapping debut was in YG Family’s second album in 2002. In 2003, he participated in Wheesung’s second album, rapping on the track Player. He performed with JinuSean, Swi.T, Lexy, Masta Wu, Se7en and YG Family, and took part in Wheesung, Gummy, Se7en and YG Family’s One concerts.

Choi Seung hyun (Korean: 최승현, Hanja: 崔勝鉉), better known by his stage name T.O.P, is a rapper and actor from South Korea. Best known for being a member of Korean boy band Big Bang, he has also been in dramas such as I Am Sam. He stars in the upcoming spy thriller IRIS, to be released in late 2009.
T.O.P was inspired after listening to rapper, Notorious B.I.G. in the 4th or 5th grade in elementary school. He was moved and it was then that he wanted to get into music.

Kwon, Ji Yong (Korean: 권지용, Hanja: 權志龍, Born August 18, 1988), better known by his stage name G-Dragon, is the leader of the Korean musical group Big Bang. Yong means dragon in korean and Ji sounds like “g”, hence, the stagename, G-Dragon. He began training under YG Entertainment at the age of twelve. After six years of vocal and dance training he made his debut in 2006 as part of Big Bang.
