Pupil

Pupil is a Filipino rock band composed of Ely Buendia on frontman duties and guitars, Yan Yuzon on lead guitar, Dok Sergio on bass and Wendell Garcia on drums.

Since the release of the band’s second album (Wild Life), the band has enjoyed greater mainstream success and better album sales. The band has also toured and performed in other countries such as Singapore, Qatar, Dubai and Canada. Their live performance of "Disconnection Notice" for MTV Philippines was featured in Best of MTV Live 2008.

The Dawn

The Dawn is a Filipino rock band which achieved commercial success during the late 1980s in the Philippines. The band broke up in 1995 with lead vocalist Jett Pangan forming another band, the Jett Pangan Group. The Dawn reunited in late 1999.

The 1997 reunion at the ULTRA brought the band back on-stage and, for the first time, the band employed two guitarists: Matsuura and Reyes. They did another reunion show at the now defunct ABG’s along Pasong Tamo, while they were discussing a comeback release through Sony Music Philippines (now Sony BMG Music Philippines). In 2000 they reunited with both Francis Reyes and Atsushi Matsuura on guitars and performed on GMA Networks’ 2000 Global Millennium Day Broadcast in Ayala Avenue in Makati City. That year, they also recorded Prodigal Sun, an album that, much like the parable of the Prodigal Son, symbolized their return to the music scene.

Raimund Marasigan

Raimund Emmanuel Parcon Marasigan or simply known as Raimund Marasigan, is a rock musician and record producer in the Philippines. Oftentimes, his first name is misspelled as Raymond, Raymund, Raimond and other variants. The breadth of his projects has made him one of the most well-respected mainstays of the Philippine rock band scene.

He was the drummer, vocalist and lyricist alongside former bandmate Ely Buendia of The Eraserheads, and the current keyboard/synths player for Pedicab, former rhythm guitarist and now frontman of Sandwich, current drummer of Cambio, vocalist of Project 1 and the man behind Squid 9. Aside from writing songs and being a musician, he is also a record producer, voice actor, tv host and product endorser.

Buddy Zabala

Hector "Buddy" Avacena Zabala is the bassist of Filipino hard rock band The Dawn, indie band Cambio, and widely known as the bassist of the now disbanded alternative rock band, The Eraserheads.

A few years after the dissolution of the Eraserheads, Buddy Zabala continues to be a prolific musician. He plays bass for The Dawn and, of course, the renamed Eheads, Cambio. Intervening bands in which he was played were the Sun Valley Crew (together with fellow Eraserhead, Raimund Marasigan) and Twisted Halo (with Vin Dancel, Jason Caballa, Joey Odulio, and Mon Lopez.).

Marcus Adoro

Marcus Antonius Corpuz Adoro is the former lead guitarist of the Eraserheads, one of the most popular bands in the Philippines during the 90′s alternative rock explosion. He currently goes under the stage name or band name, Markus Highway.

After the band released their 8th and final album, Carbon Stereoxide in 2001, Adoro started working on a solo project called "Kamonkamon," which tells the adventures of his pet dog with the same name. The compilation of songs were mixed and produced by Marcus himself. Ranging from electronica, dance, to folk, and alternative music, most of its tracks were collaborations with artists, such as Pinoy rock legend Pepe Smith, Dong Abay, and an artist named Dangwa.

Pedicab

Pedicab is a Filipino rock band formed in 2005. This another project band of Marasigan already released two album entitled “Tugish Takish:” and “Shinji Ilabas Mo Na Ang Helicopter” under MCA Music. They call their music “dunk music”. Pedicab is managed by Soupstar Entertainment Inc.

Around August 2004, Raimund Marasigan formed another project, a band he called Pedicab. They did their first gig in September that year. On 2005, the band released their debut album entitled Tugish Takish under Vicor Music. The name was taken from the onomatopoeia of the drum’s banging sound. Containing 12 tracks, the album’s singles include Dizy Boy, Dito Tayo Sa Dilim, Konti Na Lang, Bleached Streaks etc. Its videos were directed by its own member RA Rivera. Prior to that, they released a two-track sampler dubbed as “For Hire” with tracks Bago Pa Mag Pasko and Pa-Experience.

Sandwich

Sandwich is a Filipino rock band that was formed in 1995 by Raimund Marasigan and Diego Castillo for the purpose of fulfilling their mutual desire to work together. Castillo recruited former band mates (from The Aga Muhlach Experience) Mike Dizon (of Teeth) to play drums and Myrene Academia to handle bass duties. Marasigan was a judge at a contest where Marc Abaya jammed to a Beastie Boys song with his band, Shirley Beans. He was then recruited by Marasigan to be their vocalist.

They signed with Sony Music, and released their debut album, Grip, Stand, Throw, with much success, thanks to its carrier single, “Butterfly Carnival.” The band won three awards at the 1999 NU 107 Rock Awards: Album of the Year, Best New Artist, and Song of the Year. They released their second album, Four-Track Mind, in 2000; it was awarded Album of the Year at the Rock Awards in 2001.

Itchyworms

The Itchyworms is a Filipino rock band whose music is primarily guitar-driven rock with pronounced 1960s and 1980s pop sensibilities and embellished with two- or three-part vocal harmonies. The group made their name in the OPM (Original Pilipino Music) scene in 2006 with their sophomore effort Noontime Show with songs such as “Akin Ka Na Lang” and “Beer”.

In 2005, the itchyworms released Noontime Show, which gave them modest national success and industry recognition. Buddy Zabala and Raimund Marasigan, by this time both former Eraserheads, co-produced the album with the group.
