Number1 Bigbang Number 1 was the first Japanese album by the South Korean boy band Big Bang, released by YG Entertainment and Universal Music Japan in Japan. Some of the songs were written and composed by the members themselves, most notably G-Dragon. The album includes the group’s first two mini-albums in Japan and songs from their third mini-album in South Korea. Noticeably, this album is primarily in English and includes versions of songs previously released in Korean.

With U With U is BIGBANG’s 2nd Japanese mini-album. As their first Japanese mini-album For the World, all the songs are English versions of the original Korean songs, except for “Mad About You” which is sung in mixed English and Japanese, and “My Girl” which is sung in Japanese. Both were their first Japanese recorded songs. Only one new song was recorded for the mini-album “With U”.

BIGBANG 4th Mini-Album

BIGBANG 4th Mini-Album BIGBANG 4th Mini-Album is BIGBANG’s fourth Korean mini-album. It was released as their Korean comeback, as it was the first release that they would actively promote in Korea since the release of their first Japanese album Number 1 (October 2008). As apposed to YG Entertainment’s 2010-2011 trend to promote more than one track at once, only the song “Tonight” was used as lead track, however, all the songs were performed on different stages at some point, with even a 1-hour comeback special program on SBS.

JYJ

JYJ (previously known as Junsu/Jejung/Yuchun) is a three member boyband, formed by three members of South Korean boyband TVXQ: Junsu, Jejung and Yuchun. Their debut Japanese language EP The… reached No. 1 on the Japanese Oricon albums chart. The band’s global debut album, The Beginning, is planned for an October release.

Chet Lam

Chet Lam is a Hong Kong based independent singer-songwriter whose style has been described by many as “city-folk”. He is the elder brother of singer Eman Lam.

Lam is the most successful independent artist in the Chinese music industry in terms of album sales and popularity, constantly releasing commercially and critically acclaimed albums throughout his career. He calls himself more of a cultural worker than an entertainer.

9mm Parabellum Bullet

9mm Parabellum Bullet is a Japanese rock band formed in March 2004 from Yokohama, Japan, consisting of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Takuro Sugawara, guitarist and backing vocalist Yoshimitsu Taki, bassist Kazuhiko Nakamura, and drummer Chihiro Kamijo, who came up with the band’s name. Piano pieces included in some songs are performed by Taki, while the characteristic shouts are provided by Nakamura.

Takamizawa Toshihiko
