2PM releases digital single and music video for “Thank You”

Korean idols 2PM have released a digital single and music video for “Thank You,” according to the group’s agency JYP Entertainment on Wednesday.

JYPE announced in a press release that the ballad song “Thank You,” which was first revealed at 2PM’s first solo concert, was revealed on various web-based music sites yesterday.

Lee Min Young

Lee Min Young or simply “Min” is a South Korean singer and a member of South Korean Girl Group “Miss A” of JYP Entertainment.

At the age of 13, together with SNSD’s Hyoyeon, they form a dance group called Little Winners and received many good comments and response. Her locking skill is considered even better than Hyoyeon who is also known as the female Michael Jackson. It is reported that on the age of 12, the reason of Min being selected as a trainee under JYPE is because of her amazing dancing skill. Since 2005, she went to US and received training from many US famous musician and dancer.

2PM’s Concert Rapped for Sexual Content

The South Korea Ministry of Gender Equality and Family said it received complaints from the public rapping the 2PM concert last July 31 and August 1 as containing sexual acts that are unfit for kids.

The concert was rated for eight years old and above but it turned out that the performances by 2PM members were deemed inappropriate by the Korean public.

2AM

2AM is a South Korean four-member ballad boy band under JYP Entertainment. The members are Jinwoon, Jo Kwon, Seulong, and Changmin. 2AM is one of the two subgroups branched out from the eleven-member (before Jaebeom’s departure) boy band One Day, the other being 2PM. They officially debuted on July 11, 2008 on KBS’s Music Bank, performing their debut song “This Song”. They won their first Mutizen at Inkigayo on February 7, 2010 with “Can’t Let You Go Even If I Die”.

JYP Entertainment, the creator of the Wonder Girls, 2AM and 2PM, will bring a new girl group next month.

The new outfit is “miss A” and will be managed under JYP Entertainment’s sub-label, AQ Entertainment.
