BoA, Seven to perform at Incheon Korea Music Wave

Korea’s leading international stars BoA and Seven will be performing at Incheon Korean Music Wave 2010 next month, along with 14 other Korean musicians.

The concert will take place at Incheon Munhak World Cup Stadium on Aug. 29, at 7 p.m. The Incheon-sponsored event is also supported by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Han Geng

Han Geng 05Han Geng (born February 9, 1984), better known in Korea as Hankyung, is a Chinese pop singer and actor. A member of super boy band Super Junior, he is also the leader of its subgroup, Super Junior-M. Being one of the four lead dancers of Super Junior, he is also one of the two members in the group who frequently performs Chinese martial arts in Super Junior’s dance routines. Han is well-known for his dancing, being particularly skillful in Chinese traditional dances from the 55 Chinese ethnic groups. As a member of a Korean music group, he is an important contributor to the Korean wave in China. One of the first and more influential Chinese artist in Korea, Han was elected as a torch bearer for the 2008 Beijing Olympics for his contribution to the cultural changes between China and South Korea.

Mirotic Album

Mirotic is TVXQ’s fourth Korean studio album, released on September 26, 2008. The album had been in production since 2007, but the title was not decided upon until January 2008. TVXQ members Xiah Junsu and Max Changmin participated directly in the making of the album, penning the lyrics for “노을.. 바라보다 (Picture of You)” and “Love in the Ice”, respectively. In addition, members Hero Jaejoong and Micky Yoochun composed and wrote the lyrics to “사랑아 울지마 (Don’t Cry My Lover)” and “사랑 안녕 사랑 (Love Bye Love)”, respectively, for version C of the album. Three days after its release, Mirotic became the best selling album of the year. On November 15, 2008, the album won the album of the year award at the 2008 MKMF Korean Music Festival awards.

Yoon Eun-Hye (Korean: 윤은혜, Hanja: 尹恩惠, born October 3, 1984) is a South Korean actress, singer, entertainer and model. She debuted as a member of the popular girl group Baby V.O.X, staying with the group from 1999 – 2005. She has since moved on to acting, receiving popularity and fame from her role as a crown princess on the drama Princess Hours, as well as her role as the main protagonist in the drama The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince.

In addition to her acting and singing, Yoon Eun-Hye graduated from Kyung Hee Cyber University in February 2007, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, specializing in Tourism Management.

Kwon, Ji Yong (Korean: 권지용, Hanja: 權志龍, Born August 18, 1988), better known by his stage name G-Dragon, is the leader of the Korean musical group Big Bang.
