LA Diva (Album)

la_diva_album Their self-titled debut album is already out in major record bars in most of the locations in the Philippines. Their album has 10 tracks including their own version of the songs "Apologize", "Angels Brought Me Here", "Gaano Kadalas Ang Minsan" and their originals, "Kasping Ka (carrier single)", “Rosalinda” (Slow and Fast), etc. Their revival of the song, “Angels Brought Me Here” is the Official Soundtrack of the airing of the Korean Drama, Queen Seong Duk. In addition to that, their song "Rosalinda was used in the recent Filipino Adaptation of the Mexicanovela, Rosalinda. Their album has 2 CDs including the Minus One.

Mahal Kita (Album)

“maricris_garcia_mahal_kita Mahal Kita”, in English I Love You, is a the debut music album of Pinoy Pop Superstar 2008 grand champion and GMA Network talent Maricris Garcia. Finally, Maricris is now releasing her debut album entitled “Mahal Kita” which contains 12 beautiful tracks including the two aforementioned theme songs. The album’s carrier single entitled Bakit Ikaw Pa Rin, a rendition of Noah’s original is currently enjoying massive airplay in various fm stations nationwide. Enclosed also in her brand new album is the never been released theme song of Mga Mata ni Anghelita entitled Nang Dahil Sa’yo.

Maricris Garcia

Maricris Yu Garcia is a singer from the Philippines, best known for winning Pinoy Pop Superstar Year 3. She first auditioned in Pinoy Pop Superstar Year 1, but did not become a finalist. Two years later, she won with her rendition of Barry Manilow’s "One Voice" at the Grand Finale held in Araneta Colosseum. She was the 3rd Pinoy Pop Superstar champion (the others were Jonalyn Viray & Gerald Santos). Her voice is distinctly similar to the Divine Diva Zsazsa Padilla’s voice, so she has been given the title of the "Divine Princess".

She is taking up BS Tourism to her school in La Consolacion College – Manila her province is in Sta. Maria, Bulacan.

La Diva

La Diva is a Filipino R&B, Ballad, Pop girl group which was first established only for the show SOP for one of its segment. They are two winners and a runner-up of Pinoy Pop Superstar namely Jonalyn Viray, Aicelle Santos and Maricris Garcia. They are popular for having blending styles, Jonalyn Viray being the soprano, Maricris Garcia taking the place of the mezzo-soprano, Aicelle Santos as the alto, They major-influenced female group is Destiny’s Child and La Diva was one of the major influenced by the rnb pop singing group of the proudly bulacan’s the “Ella Brothers” aka Destiny’s child II which is Che Ella and Patty Ella sangs Angels Brought me Here.

In May 2008, it was confirmed that GMA Artist Center would be forming a female music trio called La Diva.’SOP’ is known for showcasing world-class talent who strive for constant reinvention. With its “Three of a Kind” segment, the musical variety show gets ready to introduce a new generation of divas.
