Supernova to hold concert in Japan in December

Boy band Supernova will be holding a concert in Japan this coming December, according to the boys on Thursday.

The six-member band broke the news to Asia Economic Daily before going on stage of music cable channel Mnet’s “M! CountDown” where they will give their first performance for their second album “Time to Shine” released yesterday.

Zia takes over Mnet’s singles chart with "Laughter"

Korean pop star Zia has taken over Mnet’s singles chart with her latest song “Laughter” during the second week of August.

The singer’s new song “Laughter” made an incredible 31-slot jump to first place, displacing former winner “I’m a Guy Like This” from hip-hop trio DJ DOC to the No. 5 spot.

Shinee

Shinee is a contemporary R&B South Korean boy band. Formed by SM Entertainment in 2008, they made their debut on May 25, 2008 on SBS’s Popular Songs with their promotional single, “Noonan Neomu Yeppeo (Replay)” (“누난 너무 예뻐 (Replay)”, lit. “Older Girl, You’re So Pretty (Replay)”). The group consists of Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho, and Taemin. Since their debut, Shinee has won numerous awards. They have also starred in their own reality show based on their song, “Noona Neomu Yeppeo (Replay)”. Shinee is considered to be a fashion icon having started the “Shinee Trend”.

C.N.Blue

C.N.Blue, Code Name Blue, is a South Korean idol rock band, which debuted on August 19, 2009 in Japan with the band’s first mini-album, Now or Never. They were coined as the “2nd FT Island”. The group released four teasers for their 1st album Bluetory, starring one member per each of the videos in the sequence of Jonghyun, Minhyuk, Jungshin and lastly, Yonghwa on the 6th, 8th, 11th and 13th of January respectively. On the 12th of January, the music video of the title track 외톨이야 “I’m a Loner” was released.

Miss A

Miss A is a group under AQ Entertainment, sub-label of JYPE. Miss A began as a five member group and were known as the JYP Sisters. One of the original members was Hye Lim, who replaced Sun Mi of the Wonder Girls.
